Great Security Layer
Last year ended horribly for me. My Civic was stolen in December 2008. Its barren chassis was found a few days later. The alarm with ignition kill proved to be useless.

It's a shame the only reason I found out about Ravelco was because I was being reactive. Still...I'm glad I sent out that email. Chuck came to my work to do the install. Very pleasant guy and takes pride in his work. Installation took about 5 hours with no breaks! The guy's a machine! Hope he didn't miss that appointment he mentioned.

I really had hoped the Ravelco wouldn't be necessary. But, sure enough, the lowlife thieves have decided to make my neighborhood a regular source of income for themselves. And, also sure enough, they broke into the nicer car that replaced the Civic they'd defiled. They must be familiar with the Ravelco... because after beaking in, they didn't even bother opening the hood. They just checked the glove compartment and center console (both of which I'd left empty). I had to have the door lock repaired and get a pager alarm, but at least my ride is still around.

I'd recommend Ravelco to anybody as a major deterrent and as a subtle security layer.
